Nigeria’s President, Muhammadu Buhari has strongly condemned the Saturday’s attacks on Maiduguri, the Borno State capital where no fewer than 11 persons were killed.

Buhari in a statement signed by Garba Shehu, the presidency media officer, extended his condolences to the families of the victims.

He affirmed that his administration “will not tolerate wanton and wilful destruction of life by criminal elements that are bent on anarchy.”

Buhari further promised to use all available resources to curb terrorism on the Nigerian soil.

President Buhari described the terrorists as “cowardly murderers that target innocent people” and called local communities to continue their vigilante activities.


He also vowed to motivate the Nigerian soldiers by effectively funding them and attending to their welfares.

It was reported that a suicide bomber, yesterday, sneaked into a mosque along Ali Kotoko Road, near Monday Market in Maiduguri, Borno State capital, leaving 26 dead and 28 critically injured, after detonating a bomb inside the area. The incident took place at about 3:45pm when Muslim faithful gathered to perform their afternoon prayer.

lol. Now its threatened! I guess he would have used "condemned" in his sentence before you accept. By the way, most news media that carried the news, used "condemns" and "reacts". After "threatening" them on Saturday, they still dared him on Sunday. We all pray for the BH attacks to end that doesn't mean we shouldn't point out things like this
