Ts departed @ 6:30pm had issues 20mins after take off so from 6:50pm to 9pm the passengers dey air in fear,
And the airline still suggested them using same plane to continue the journey,
Infact some passengers sef will not enter plane till the end of ths year,
Its air we talking bout oh not road.

Can't imagine this, thank God for safety.

The last time I boarded this so called expensive aero contractor plane to calabar, nah like butterfly e dey do for sky. My colleagues beside were shaking and sweating like person wey just dey recover from fever

Roads are bads, air filled with tokunbo aircrafts using outdated tech, must have been traumatic for some...avoidable mishaps

And some of my friends avoid Dana air like a plaque and say it's either they use aero or arik...then this happened.
It's only God that protects us when we use these aircrafts cuz this can happen to any airline.

See question. Even the worst airline has to do that, even the pilot is mandated to recheck afterwards.... Aero is the best airline we have in Nigeria. The envy of every other airline.... You can be sure its gonna be looked into.

Humans are more likely to die of a road crash than an air crash. That's a fact. Airplanes crashing are just big time news and more propagated than road accidents. For every 1 person that dies from an air crash, 100 more people have perished from roads accidents within the same time frame.

I am not attacking Aero, the question is directed to all airline carriers and regulatory bodies. I fly Aero too,just that I fly Dana more often

Aero has the best safety records in the aviation industry in Nigeria. They always control mid air issues and land comfortably! My prefered any day. Except for that history of flight delays but as I'd always say, better a delayed flight than not arriving permanently!

Some people are making fun of what happened last night, talking about Buhari and bottles of beer! what a shame. Got a text message from my sister in law last night asking us to pray for her as she was in this plane. Sweat covered me immediately. Thank God she got out safely.

Flying is never a sweet experience. Never!

You can always jump out of the back hull also. You may just end up crushed by the engine or a in tree in the middle of nowhere.

But seriously, airplanes are safer than cars as long as the necessary safety routines are followed. Major that may be a problem is the weather and those can be accurately predicted. The chance of an accident is very minimal in comparison to going by road. You always have to be on guard. Your driving may be cautious and good but what about the other foolish road user who may bump you from the back or jump their lanes to yours? Or a burst tyre while running 140? or a sudden brake failure?
