Chai CIC just dey take applicants dey do yeye as dem like. evidently CIC has received more applications than it can handle at this time even Accra office seems to be struggling with finalising a lot of applications with just a few weeks left till a majority of schools resume in september guess they will have no option than to rollover a lot of applications like data and process against January 2016.

Go NAIT it is your best bet in terms of fees.
It offers job experience as part of the curriculum. Good for PR desire
You can market yourself furthermore with certification exams from technology owner.
In Cisco Networking world CCIE is the ultimate . It is rated as Phd so BSc and BAPT becomes irrelevant when you have that plus great experience added to it
If you are just seeking admission, please bear in mind that NAIT is very competitive and so are not in a hurry to admit and so have option B prepared.
Godymn:

Thanks so much Don Fhemmy.
I intend specialising in Networking after finish the Bsc Applied Information System Technology. NAIT has a program of Bsc Applied Information System Technology which I intended going for not a diploma. I am already Cisco and Microsoft certified. I currently have a diploma in IT. I just need a Bsc to stand strong.
When you say going for the later, please, what do you mean?
***Appreciate***

i think we should be patient with CIC....its logical to say that as from the month of August the inflow of applications for study permit will drop drastically, this will enable CIC sort out the backlogs in no time and answer us.
Let our prayer be that whenever they want to give us a reply it should be a reply that would be followed by a shout of praise...

In other news....CIC wont stop the birthday party tomorrow< *winks*

Why are you confusing yourself over an unnecessary issue over which you have no control ?!.
The principle is state some thing much more that the minimum in the currency of the SOA and its Canadian equivalent as at the time you are submitting your application.
The "little" addition that you add over and above your exact need is to serve as buffer for exchnage rate , health Insurance and other unforseen expenses.
The good news is that Canadian dollar is falling against dollar and Nira. They are Oil producing nation too. At worst Naira and Cad will fall at the same rate if Oil price fall further in view of the current efforts of the CBN to rescue Naira from further fall and wastage being blocked.
Omonjoe:
thanks. I am confuse on the exchange rate to use with the daily rising of naira against the Canadian dollar. What exchange rate would you suggest?
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 8 by soji0509: 6:02pm On Aug 06, 2015

I see your point, but thing is, as you know, the IT field is vast and very diverse. And frequently changing too. What was hot 5 years ago may not be so hot today and may be totally extinct tomorrow. My point is IT professionals are always in demand, it is the skill-set required by employers that is constantly changing. if one knew SharePoint 5 years ago for example, today he/she should also be conversant with emerging technologies like Node.js, Angular and what-not, so that when demand falls for one skill-set and rises for another, he/she would be in prime position to take advantage of the situation. The key, I think, is for IT professionals to always keep in sync with current trends and continuously reinvent themselves, so as to be relevant.

Then again you're the one on ground over there and I'm yet to be on my way. You have the physical, practical view and I can only resort to statistics and my own personal Nigerian experience to muster some sort of defense. So allow me to borrow your words: You could very well be right and I could be wrong.

I totally agree with you on that, IT is vast and robust and always something for everyone, so i totally agree with you on that one, but except for someone that is super flexible and able to move with the trend of change in IT, thread with care. . . . As a young man, no wahala, but once the kids starts coming, you get tired of seeing the codes. . . .But again, i will admit it is a great profession to be in
