The crisis ravaging the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Benue State in relation to the protest over perceived manipulation of the governorship primary election of the party has continued to generate centrifugal tendencies, threatening the party's harmony of interests and membership cohesion. Stakeholders in Benue State have raised alarm over what they described as rising authoritarianism of Governor Samuel Ortom, accusing the governor of subtle transition from democracy to totalitarian state in Benue.
