suremanpatriot: Am excited oh! I Thk God that now am much ok and free from this problem. There is no need for doubts because It was indeed a harrowing encounter for my years with life itching seriously after every bath. dileep350: I found a solution that's worked on me. Its an Indian home remedy treatment. Boil water with neem leave and 2 or 3 pinches of turmeric powder. Use this for bathing , don't use soap or shampoo. You can get relief on the first bath itself.

I once read that adding corn starch to bathing water has the same effect.

Emrich: Me I have found something that works for me. My brother told me that I have dry skin and every time I bath I wash away the moisture and then my body gets irritated. So what I did is to buy st Ives Body wash and body cream. The body wash leaves my body heavily scented and moisturised, the cream makes sure it stays that way. Now bathing is a fun time for me and my colour glows, a welcomed jara. Try it guys, use their Oatmeal and Shea Butter Body Wash and body cream or their Indulgent Coconut Milk Body Wash and Cream

Akanniade: It's aqueous pruritus. Sadly there is no cure. It can only be managed. The culprit is water. It could be your own sweat or bathe water or just a humid room. This works for me:

Use cotton fabrics for your clothes, bed sheets, towels etc. Keep them clean.

Avoid dirty, noisy breezy environment during and after bathing.

Use clean, warm water for bathing. Too hot water will strip off body oil and will result in dry itch.

Use pure cotton face clothe as your sponge.

Avoid crowded environment during and after bathing. People ask why you are itching. It does seem to get worse while you are explaining .

Don't pull off a sweaty shirt while you are still sweating , allow the breeze get you dry first.

The a.c is your best friend. Make sure you have it in your car and home. If you can't, avoid sweating.
