I made few posts on retail pharmacy to open people's eyes to the opportunities and challenges in it here on NL. That was enough a free service.

What I don't understand is that despite reading in my post that you can make millions of Naira in just one day if you get your location (and some other things a consultant should tell you) right, some people tell me my consulting fee is expensive when everything(including recruitement) is not even up to a million. You want to get guidance/ mentorship and expert help to make millions DAILY/WEEKLY/MONTHLY (EVEN IF IT IS JUST YEARLY) for as long as your business exists and you call that kind of info expensive? A one-time payment?

Worse is a lack of capacity to negotiate I noticed in these people. Some just cut off communication once they know your consulting fee. It tells me information is not valuable to them and my time is worth nothing to them. I wonder how such people will treat their staff.

If you are planning to start a business in a relatively low risk, high yield but secretive area like Pharmacy please put paying for valuable info in your budget.

I have read some dangerous info some people give for free on NL like, "You can start a Pharmacy with just 2 million Naira." I wonder what the "start" means because if you are going on a journey, your car will definitely need more than the ignition key to start the journey . Right?
Get free info but don't expect the best from there.
Well, maybe the book I'm taking time to write on retail pharmacy and retail business will be of help to those people who value info but wont mind getting it cheap. I want to spend less time on consulting/ project management and move on. The book will contain information not available elsewhere, trust me- lessons from the successes and failures of startups and established pharmacies and businesses I have interacted with,assisted and/or observed, both local and international plus practical guides. May be this will protect me from getting those surprising responses.
