Dozens of undergraduates of the Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU) Ago – Iwoye, have reportedly lost their lives after a container fell on a passenger bus they were traveling in. The fatal accident, according to The Nation, occurred along the Sagamu stretch of the Lagos/Benin expressway, on Friday, June 26 when the truck marked (LAGOS) BDG 779 X, carrying the container drove against traffic and rammed into a Toyota Haiace passenger bus bearing (Lagos) XV 311 MUS, dropping the container atop of the roof of the bus, killing 12 occupants, including the driver.
