Former national team captain Stephen Appiah said farewell to Ghana in an emotional atmosphere in Saturday afternoon at the Accra sports Stadium.
The occasion was graced by many high profile stars of past and present eras including Samuel Eto'o, Samuel Osei Kuffour and current captain of the national team Asamoah Gyan.
In attendance were His Excellency John Dramani Mahama, and former presidents Jerry John Rawlings and John Agyekum Kuffour.
