Dis must never happen. Buhari should order his military to finish boko haram with all we have and with any means possible within the shortest possible time.

The super dullard would not listen cos he needs to reward his boys.

Gone are the days of fighting battles with statistical leverage of casualties but these days what we have is a war where the fighters are ready to die so tell me how easy it will be to win a battle against a sect that is ready to waste their own lives?

Close your eyes and imagine yourself fighting with someone who is ready to die fighting you and you will understand that dialogue might just be a possible option.

How do you talk over nothing. They'r killing everything and everybody regardless.

How do you negotiate with such people?

What do you do when they make unreasonable demands?

Then they will surely ask for money -- setting a precedence. Do you give them? Like they earned it? So they can refill . . .

As far as I am concerned, killing them till extinction fully backed up in tandem with religious and secular education of their apologists/sympathizers is the only way to go.

You negotiate with them for bread and butter today, tomorrow they'd start again -- demanding milk, sugar and 'Bournvita'.

Meanwhile, do you know officially, what BH (now an extension of ISIS) wants is to establish an Islamic state in Nigeria and the introduction of Sharia law into all of Nigeria?

Not to mention over time, they've had a very conveniently fluid list of wants, ideals/non ideals.
OK. I agree with you. But let FG still discuss things with them. If BH still stick to their outrageous demands then FG should carry on with the military strategy. Let's hope BH don't come down south or else the outcome would be disastrous and it would have been better they were earlier given their "milk, sugar and Bournvita."

@ mattkent av u forgotten that GEJ intended negotiating with bh then but the so called APC. criticized him beyond boundaries. Now PMB that promises to wipe them out want to negotiate. Its too late for this.

Bh av fully grown now & it's all our fault. We are all stakeholder in this.

We should av resolve this issue long ago but we politicized it.

May God help & bless naija

so pmb wants to negotiate with boko haram? If it were during d previous administration, we'll all say gej is too weak.
Something tells me we're moving in circles. APC deceived gullible nigerians. I always had dis sinister feeling about dem-considering d track record of the proponents of 'change'

na the change be that
from bad to worse
Many folks were shouting change, but only a minute few really asked the kind of change. This same buhari continuously mentioned just a few months back, that the problem is that our boys were not well equipped to stamp out these miscreants. He said he will tackle insecurity squarely, many times. My question is, what changed since he stepped in? Did he not see how long Jonathan tried to negotiate? What happened to motivating the boys? Did he wear the shoe and discover its not funny being there? Who exactly is the negotiation meant to be with?

Well, let's keep praying for a better Nigeria, politicians should just learn to number their words, it can hunt....

If buhari negotiate with terrorists that will dent our image and show red flag to other advance countries to see a nigerians as a terrorists if our government can recognise terrorist, this will give our government a bad name. A wise government won't dare it, to maintain her dignity. Buhari is time to test your wisdom maybe you are dumb.
