• Light Brown- This colour usually means that you're not drinking enough quality fluids. You know what must be done. Drink more water and keep an eye out for changes in colour. If it doesn't lighten up you might have a problem.
p.s. If you don't like drinking water (weirdo) you can always add sliced cucumbers, lemon, and fresh mint to spice it up.

• Dark Brown- Brown is no good. First of all, it's the ugliest colour in the box of crayons. You don't want any part of that life. But most of all it's a sign that your liver is in need of repair. Do not ignore this one. And no, it can't wait until your big stressful project is complete. You'll be glad you treated it early, no matter how bad that project is.

• Blue/Green- If your toilet bowl is blue or green and you can't blame it on bathroom cleaner, you have either eaten some artificially dyed food or you're showing early signs of porphyria, a rare genetic disease. Go to the doctor! Don't be lazy.

• Any Amount of Red- Unless you just chowed down on some beets, red is a big, even REDDER flag. Red in your urine is most likely blood that could stem from a variety of awful things like kidney disease, a severe UTI, or even cancer. This is definitely not the time to try home remedies. Suck it up and go see a doctor.

• Orange- Orange urine is a sign of dehydration OR being dangerously cheesy. The Cheetos cheetah gets along just fine with his orange self, but humans will usually start to feel sluggish and bloated without proper hydration. So leave the puffs to Chester and drink some water.

• Clear- Drink too little water and you end up with a brown disaster. Drink too much water and you end up peeing water. Ideally, you want a light yellow color (like sunshine!). If your urine is clear and you're not forcing yourself to drink more than you need, get yourself checked for diabetes. If you ARE forcing yourself to guzzle tons of water, cut it out. Drink a little more than you crave and let it be.

• Foamy/Bubbly- According to urologist Dr. Shoskes, it's nothing to be immediately worried about.
“While usually not an issue, just an effect of how strongly you’re urinating, occasionally [foaminess] can be a sign of protein in the urine,”

White urine indicates great amount of water consumed..lots of hydration makes the urine diluted. Orange indicates that you drank less amount of water and the urine is concentrated

People with dark brown urine should go to a laboratory for a liver function test(LFT) to check the functionality of the liver.
