The pic really isn't clear enuf,I think one sure method of Identifying if its a croc or Gator is if the longer canine teeth still sticks out even with its mouth closed. Though we don't have alligators around here.

A tortoise is not like a dog that you stroke, call, reward, stroll with and it eventually bonds with you. Don't people who keep chickens around their home eventually eat them? The only exciting thing about these tortoise is finding them when they go into hiding

The Squirrels will mostly die due to cold next time you get one also get a sparrows nest or any small sized bird nest and keep them indoors (i had a house squirrel for over 2yrs until i bathed in in dettol water long time ago)

An just saying Owls are Cool (if anyone ever traps one i'll buy it from them)
