Microsoft may likely deactivate you, if you run the update, since it will pass through their server and verify your key. They are not stupid, it is still a way for them to reduce piracy. Anyway the RTM is online, and a work around on how to activate your copy, find it and do a fresh installation. Still loving my Win7.
