Hi nairalanders,
With the rate of unemployment in Nigeria, graduate have little or no choice in accepting offers not relating to their course of study. I find myself into these category. I actually studied Education/Biology but currently working in a construction industry wink ,though I'm enjoying my job as it's fetching me lot of experience and contact. I'm considering applying for a professional cert. But don't knw which one to go for..HSE or PMP..my ogas in the house abeg make una help me out. Gracias

in the construction industry HSE would give u a better ground, but if you chose to leave in the near future then go for PMP. You can try your hand on QMS or Lead Auditor or Something in Document Control. You wont regret it. I am also in the construction industry. Glad to meet u

HSE is more robust. HSE professionals are employed in a wide variety of settings including manufacturing, oil and gas, construction, energy and petrochemical, healthcare, forestry, mining, government, non-governmental organizations, educational and training, service and trade sectors.

I will choose HSE over project management, because with HSE certifications, You will have wider opportunities than having a project management certifcations.
