Having trouble sleeping? This breathing trick can help you fall asleep in less than a minute. The method was developed by Harvard-educated, wellness practitioner Dr. Andrew Weil, who specializes in breathing, meditation, and how it can be used to counteract stress.

How Does This Method Work?

It’s very easy; just breathe in through your nose for 4 seconds, hold it for 7 seconds, and exhale through your mouth for 8 seconds. This slows down your heart rate and it also releases chemicals in your brain that soothe you. By using this breathing method, you counteract the natural effects of adrenaline. When you first begin, you may feel a bit uncomfortable, but as you continue, you will feel very relaxed, your heart rate slow and your mind clear.

Give it a try tonight.

Are you trying to make God a liar? How can you be watching 24 season 15 and claim a sleeping trick is not working for you? One of the simple rules of sleep is you get TV out of your sleep-cocoon and never watch TV 30mins before bedtime! The heavens (not Heaven) help those who help themselves!

Other useful tips - stop using electronic devises, e.g. smartphones, 30mins before sleep time;
Make your cocoon as conducive as possible -low lights, low or no noise, cool air, sweet smell, etc;
My favourite tip - think on your past pleasurable events or imaging pleasant things you wish for!

If all else fails, pick up your Bible and read the genealogies (Gen 5, Gen 11, 1Chr 6, Ezra 7)

If you still do not sleep, then you may be an enemy of God (Ps 127v2b: for so He giveth His beloved sleep!) -Go for deliverance sharp sharp!

it works like magic, try and feel relaxed, dnt think of anything, turn off lights around and stay calm on the bed...in less than 50seconds you are off to dreamland!

Try it out!
