Onye Akpu obi is a slang for a person who love to flaunt his big chest.

Onye-person akpu-fufu obi-chest
That gives us "person fufu chest"

akpu means hard or tough

O tara akpu = it is tough

Onye akpu obi = hard chested person i.e. a muscular guy

Akpu obi -- chest muscles or well-built chest.
Akpu aka -- biceps/triceps/arm muscles.

Onye akpu obi means someone who has well-developed chest muscles/huge chest.

Similar phrases in Igbo are akpu nku which refers to someone who is strong i.e literally muscular all over.

Akpu can also mean 'fufu' depending on pronunciation.
