I was a beneficiary back then in my undergraduate years so I'll advise students to apply.

What point are you trying to make exactly? Dyu knw hw many students get these scholarships abi are u saying they shud be giving 2million each to the hundreds of students that get the scholarship..

Do you intend to apply? Your negative attitude might not give you a good chance at winning..

Multiply 200k by 1500(usually more) and see how many students benefit from the scheme yearly. Note that it's a revolving scholarship and this is just one of the many scholarship schemes MTN offers.. They are doing a Damn good job!

I think one must have a DYaccount to be able to apply for the stuff.

It's not compulsory you have a DYA for you to apply. The space for that isn't asterisked like others. Go on with your application.

Diamond Yello account is an account jointly owned by MTN and Diamond bank. If you win, that's where your money will be paid into. The account can be opened anytime by dialing *710# from your Mtn line and simply follow the steps. The account can be operated from any diamond bank branch.

Yes I am a beneficiary, shortlisting takes roughly a month. The exams should be in October and the winners will be awarded in December. Your cgpa and good essay are factors that are considered in the shortlisting process. I studied GMAT for mine.. and I got some dragnet PQS too..
