Akwa Ibom State Government Is Not Selling Cars! by Nobody: 11:59am On Aug 21, 2015
The attention of Akwa Ibom State Government has been drawn to a public announcement on the social media purported to have been issued by me, announcing the sale of unused cars in Government House.

Members of the public are hereby advised to disregard the said announcement as it was done by hackers and fraudsters.

There is no SALE OF UNUSED CARS in Government House as government is not in the business of selling cars, but to impact lives through people-centric programs and policies, which has been the hallmark of the Governor Udom Emmanuel –led administration since he was sworn in on May 29, 2015.

Meanwhile, the law enforcement agents are on the trail of the people who sent out this message and they will be brought to justice soon.

Signed:

Ekerete Udoh
Chief Press Secretary to the Governor of Akwa Ibom State
