An Abuja Chief Magistrate Court has ordered the arrest of one Miss Chioma Oluchi Anasoh, a former Special Assistant to ex-Minister of Aviation, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode, over alleged criminal breach of trust and cheating.

The order was given last Friday the 20th of March by the court at Wuse Zone 11, Abuja.The Magistrate mandated all police officers nationwide to arrest Anasoh, 29 of 5 Frederick Chiluba Street, Asokoro, Abuja and bring her to the court to face charges “for obtaining the sum of $65,000 under false pretence.”

Her problem allegedly began with a petition filed against her by a businessman, Ifeanyi Okorie before the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Force CID, FCT Command, Abuja.

The petitioner alleged that the lady falsely obtained $65,000 from him sometime in February, 2007 to execute some contracts she got from the Ministry of Aviation using proxy companies without the knowledge of her boss with a vow to repay the same within three months with an additional 30 percent interest.

The petitioner was said to have given the money to Miss Anasoh as a result of the long standing business relationship existing between the two of them and because of her prominence in the Ministry of Aviation.

She was alleged to have failed to secure the contract and also failed to refund the said $65,000.

Okorie reportedly ran to the police after “the lady became elusive and evasive especially after the expiration of the appointment of Fani-Kayode as minister.

The petitioner also alleged that the lady had relocated from her residence in Abuja hence the need for a court intervention.
