Pray also this more important prayer....that Nigeria has people who rule us well....because in Muslim countires like Kuwait and UAE....they have lots of churches(for the expats) but no burning...because of good governance.

The sad thing in Nigeria is that all this church burning down would not have happened if we were not an oil dependent economy. Because....if we were an industrial economy....we would make sure the environment is conducive for industrial development....which means better security, better education, better housing and better roads. The govt would invest in the people....and the people would in turn make sure that the goose that lays the golden eggs is well fed.

So Nigerian Christians.....even as we mourn the deaths of these martyrs....and even as we pray against the forces of evil represented by the Boko Pigeons.....let us also remember that righteousness exalts a nation. As Christians we have a responsibility to Nigeria.....that we be an example, a light , the salt. Let us end corruption amongst ourselves. Let Christian governors,ministers, LG chairmen, etc be free of corruption, and be servants of the people. Let us inspire our non- Christian fellow citizens to higher things. And let us pray for good leaders....we are in Babylon., longing for the heavenly Jerusalem....and until we get there...Babylon's peace is our peace.

And the road to peace lies through good and just government. Let us as Christians stand...both in prayer and in deed....for fair,righteous and just leadership. God helping us.

Boko Haram will be defeated....not just by weapons of hands. But also by righteousness.
