Fuji singer, Wasiu Alabi Pasuma is the surprise special guest artiste at a three-day outdoor crusade organized by The Redeemed Christian Church Of God (RCCG), Lagos Province 20. The singer will mount the stage at the event scheduled for October 23 to 25 at the notorious Lagos Island neighbourhood of Martins Street around Oluwole Car Park, Lagos. Popular gospel singer, Tope Alabi is another guest artiste scheduled to perform at the three- day outdoor event. A source revealed that the invitation of the Fuji singer is a strategy to lead the souls of area boys and touts in the notorious neighbourhood to Christ. Conservative Christians may frown at the invitation of what they may term as a secular musician to perform on a church alter. Some months ago, a hot debate ensued on social media when Mavin Records act, Korede Bello was invited to sing at Harvesters International Christian Church, Gbagada, Lagos.

Irrespective how holy we are, we all need Christ daily in lives. Our problem is "I'm holier than you attitude" which breeds religious intolerance. The Pastor must have well thought it before inviting the musician.

Though l don't subscribe to this but l once heard that a lady evangelist confessed when she was still a member of the underworld that pasuma was spiritually perverted. He was meant to be a pastor. lf this assertion is true then l want to believe it's a move of God to claim back what is rightfully His...Gal 1:15. The way of God is unsearchable and pass human understanding. Please let us not castigate this pastor rather seek the purpose of God in this event be fulfilled and patiently watch the outcome. Meanwhile, l enjoin believers to join me intercede for pasuma as he mount the podium never to come down the same man.
