It's no news that almost all parts of Lagos is currently experiencing improve in power supply. The question now is, for how long will this continue before those evil henchmen holding this country to ransom go back to their shady deals. A typical example is an area in Ikeja where their power schedule is maybe in 30 days, the area will have light for 10 random days only at night to be taken before 6am. Very pitiful right, but let it not surprise you that since General Buhari assumed office as president of Nigeria, this area in Ikeja is now enjoying almost 24hrs of power supply. Is this a coincidence or a deliberate act just like in petroleum sector?
There is an ongoing speculation with even evidence that some top ranking corrupt politicians in Nigeria liase with top ranking PHCN officials to sabotage the power sector. These henchmen are suspected to be owners of fuel stations and petroleum marketers. There is also report that companies that import generator into Nigeria also play a major role in this sham.
The current ongoing probe in power sector will go along way in determining where this country will be in the next 5 Years. I said 5years because a lot of positive things can happen in this country if there is steady power supply in Nigeria for the next 5 years.
PHCN officials are so corrupt down to it's roots to the extent some people they deploy as field workers are even the ones sabotaging efforts made. This criminal act is designed to lure the community dwellers to part with some amount of money given as bribe before they fix any problem which they sabotaged.
This country will continue to dwell in the past if the senate fail to realize they have an important role to play in making this nation move forward. We have seen it that there is light almost everywhere now, Nigerians expect nothing but the best from now on. Imagine what will happen to our economy, after all how many people buy stupid generator daily.
Buhari should probe PHCN very very well, because some set of people can not hold the entire nation from moving out of developing era, is India not manufacturing car now? Anyone found guilty in corrupt practices should be sacked, this will serve as a warning to others. Power supply is like the heart in the body without it the body cannot function properly.

I am a core supporter f GEJ, but Alwayz believed that he hit it all wrong on this power sector

Also the opposition party APC precisely paid a major role in sabotaging power sector, pipeline vandalizations, ASUU Strike, fuel scarcity etc.
Why I blame the president is dat he failed to show Nigerians that he is d commander in chief, his body language was so bad that some people even believed dre was no president,

U re ryt some infrastructures in diz country were so sabotaged

What a revelation?

This was a description of APC modus operandi during Goodluck Jonathan's administration.

The writer of this article should be probe as he was among those or is privy to this National sabotage.

Is like since no politician pays for your daily bread having observed the stupidity of zero gain in vandalizing gas pipelines wants to blackmail the government through back door.

Try it again and see your masters bounce on you.

APC n the north sabotaged power sector.
everybody will get his/her punishment when the time comes........to think that some group of people sabotaged the effort of GEJ because he isn't as ruthless as Obj speaks volumes about how patriotic Nigerians are.........we are not united and can never be with this attitude. Going to the extreme because of political power is callous and foo.lish to say the least........have always know that the power was sabotaged, but why others didn't see it beats my imagination......may the angel of death visit those who do not have the interest of this country @ heart and may he destroy those who play politics with the lives of Nigerians......
