Good job Fayose,i may not agree with some of your methods but on this one i stand with you a 100%.Nigerians are too permissive. No principles what so ever. Even judging by the comments on here,it's so easy to see how irresponsibility and levity has permeated the society it has become a cancer. If these folks were working for a private organisation would they dare turn up late? But it's a government job,you hear stuff like 'government work no be my papa work'. 'Government work no dey ever finish'..bla,bla,bla. If we preach change,we must be the change we wish to see. |

Every tribe has their own minus, but they always downplay it and laud their talents/abilities. Just for the love of NL likes, u yab ur own precious people. Obviously, u r an incorrigible bastard suffering from perpetual dementia. Wake ur mum up at 1:00AM tonight and demand she tells u the truth and show u who ur useless igbo father is. what's with all these media dramas sef? Is it being requested by overseas sponsors? first there was you know who before he brought in a sponsored lady, then there was a second one where people were kneeling and prostrating but then a meeting was later arranged with **the big one** and now there's this drama. Folks, let us stop selling ourselves because of foreign mirrors and brightly coloured handkerchiefs. 1 Like |

if people are late, there is a procedure to be followed and you can request their bosses to inform you of any subsequent lateness and also submit a written follow up of how lateness was effectively discouraged and productivity increased by what percentage as a result of the measures taken. Not elementary or secondary school mode. 2 Likes |

its only in Nigeria that people will beg and expect all their sins to be forgiven. In developed countries, you break the law, you pay the price.. Nigeria's problem is not just its administration but also the people. The people don't want to change but they want change. . . imagine if every single Nigerian was behind their president, governor, and LGA chairman irrespective of political party Nigeria would be the world power of Africa just like China is for Asia and USA is for North America 1 Like |

tpiander: This is the same due process mantra, workers chant when they abuse the priviledge and attend to their individual needs or businesses first, before students at school. Some just take attendance and return to their business. Have you been to public school?. If yes. You wouldn't be saying all this. Impunity in our educational system needs to be sloughed. They get paid without delay and they should render quality service. Not producing half baked literates. |

tpiander:salary deduction or as the case maybe SACK, if you are stubborn |
Re: Ekiti Workers Beg Fayose For Lateness (new Photos) by tpiander: 10:52pm On Aug 31, 2015 |
wokomabest: there is no salary deduction for lateness, unless you are on the time clock system. the normal procedure is to issue a warning and then observe for signs of improvement. if there are none, as in maybe up to six latenesses within say a month, then you place on probation or something. Sacking is an extreme measure especially given the fact that this is a govt job. Doesn't speak well for the economy. besides, all this yin and yang should be modified/reduced. |

There is no need for this public shenanigan. Instead of these backward and ret@rded ways of doing things, may be Fayose should invest in acquiring a system to effectively and efficiently monitor workers that show up to work late...Trust me, it is not that expensive and it works...That is the kind of Nigeria we want to see, and not this hopeless public humiliation. Regardless of the offence, we must still acknowledge respect for human rights.. We must learn how to do the right thing the right way, Fayose can go straight to he11... |

And we complain foreigners treat our people badly, this is precedence been set. This is definitely not a dignifying way to respond to lateness amongst supposed professionals. Fayose is a tout, Ekiti people are grovelling cowards with a massive inferiority complex, lack decorum and I suspect dignity. All infered from this picture. You see they watched as these people were debased and did nothing. Fashola tackled lateness in Lagos we saw no pictures of people grovelling and kneeling, grown adults for that matter. And we expect people to treat others better with dignity the hallmark of a civilized society , this kind of rubbish and Ill treatment will continue to trickle down in Ekiti mark my words....their tout of a leader as set the pace. |
