My first cruise was on Carnival Sensation, Miami to Bahamas. The stops at Nassau and Freeport were pure bliss. I dont know about crappy internet as it was not free and then the whole idea of vacation was to get away from the world and its wahala so we didnt bother.
Sea days and dinner times are awesome. I no do spa either, too expensive ooo,starts from $120 I kuku give body to Oga make he massage and he did a good job. lol

Back to the basics!

1. No matter how fun a cruise can be, YOU WILL STILL MISS YOUR BED!!!!!

2. No matter how interesting the cruise is, YOU WILL STILL GET BORED!!!

Bottom line?

If you travel in a group, BE PREPARED TO PERSEVERE AND TOLERATE!!!! Especially, with people you HAVE NEVER LIVED WITH.

3. NEVER, NEVER, NEVER SACRIFICE YOUR COMFORT TO SAVE MONEY!!!! It may not be fun staying apart, but if your SLEEP AND REST patterns are affected, your cruise is of no use. You are there to RELAX and REST, not TOTURE yourselves!

For my personality type, I WILL ONLY DO SOLO CRUISES! Or if I travel in a group, I MUST HAVE MY OWN CABIN, PERIOD!!!!!!!!

I don't want ANYONE in my personal SPACE!!!! Husband and LOVERS INCLUDED!!!!!!

If they FART, you will HEAR AND SMELL it the ENTIRE CRUISE!!!!

I have learned my LESSONS WELL!!!!

*Always PACK LIGHT*!!!!!

I saw so many things I wanted to purchase, but I shopped for the cruise and filled 2 suitcases before the cruise.

Big mistake!!! I ended up with an EXTRA BAG for all my souvenirs and exotic BOOOOOZE!!!!

You have very little room around the cabin. Pack judiciously, unless you plan to do little or no shopping!

*You will ALWAYS forget your most important items!*

1. MOSQUITO REPELLANT sprays and lotions!

2. WALKIE-TALKIES to communicate as a group!

To keep up with each other, we used the phones on all floors to reach others in the room.
Or, we checked into the room on the 7th floor. . . . . every 1-2 hours to make physical contact before splitting again.

Or, left notes for each other at the Customers' Service Center on the 3rd Floor or called the room to see if anyone of us was in there.

Verrrrry tedious.

*Communicating with loved ones at home!*

The GREATEST challenge!

As soon as you get on the ship, PUT YOUR PHONES AND TABLETS on airplane mode!

I bought the USELESS internet package on board and used SKYPE or WHATSSSUP!
NO PHONE CALLS, or your home-based phone company will EAT YOU ALIVE IN FEEES!

Oh yes! You can always call from your cabin for a WHOPPING $2 per minute PLUS HIDDEN TAXES AND FEES!!!! Mba o!

One week is not a long time to DISAPPEAR!

I kept in touch with loved ones via SKYPE or WHATSSUP!!!!
No FACEBOOK!!!! No INSTAGRAM!!!!
Tufiaaaaaaakwa!!!!!

*ENTERTAINING yourself onboard!*

We did not do one-tenth of the ACTIVITIES lined up on the cruise o!

Plus, WE PURCHASED 3 EXCURSION TOURS! Yikes!!!!

Every evening at approximately 9PM, THE PROGRAMS for the next 24 hours have been shoved UP YOUR ASSSSSSSS!!!!!

You CANNOT lock the cabin from the inside!
The cabin stewards GOT INTO ALL CABINS AND CHASED EVERYONE OUT TO ATTEND THE SAFETY DRILL!!!

In case of EMERGENCY, you grab only YOUR LIFE JACKET from your cabin and proceed to MUSTER STATION " D "!
Every cruise member was assigned a MUSTER STATION to avoid THE STAMPEDE OF CONGESTION!!!

I MADE SURE EVERYONE HID THEIR GADDEM THRASH UNDER THEIR OWN BEDS!!!!

Honestly, this kind of group thing will be more interesting when everyone has a cabin to herself. That way, no one invades another's privacy and you only get together when it is convenient for everyone.
