I earn less than 100k as well but I want to sponsor myself for my studies, is this a red flag for immigration?
Nobody cares whether you are unemployed or self employed. No one cares about your salary. All these are for visitor visa.

For student visa, you need to have the alloted amount for 28 days in your account or your parents must show the alloted amount for 28 days.
Your parent must also write acknowledgement letter and show proof of relationship.

I advise you to google tier 4 visa, tier 4 financial requirements for visa, tier 4 requirements for visa or read this thread to have full knowledge to enable you make informed decision.

Take care.

Getting a CoS after your studies, as has been said before, is mainly dependent on your occupation, with those on the shortage list having higher chances (as usual think mainly IT and the medical professions and specialised engineering fields).

Without sugarcoating things, pre-Brexit, a CoS was difficult to get. Obviously, no - one knows how things will turn out post-Brexit, but bear in mind that anti-immigration sentiment was one of the main drivers of Brexit and this government is every bit as anti-immigration as the two previous Tory governments were.

The government needs the high fees international students pay to balance the universities' budgets, the Home Office is a profit-making venture that also feeds fat off the high fees it charges, and the UK's eldercare industry in crisis needs a constant supply of black and brown immigrants willing to work in care homes, so hence the post-study offer, but the government has specifically excluded the 2-year post-study period from any possible settlement reckoning, and it doesn't want most of the international students to stay.

For those who are single, the marriage route may pay off (3 years is enough time to form relationships), but note there is an income threshold for British citizens wanting to "import" spouses.

As you invest your school fees monies and plan for life in the UK, you need to have a realistic view of the situation so you can assess things appropriately.

Hmmmm thanks brother.. My aim of going to the UK is mainly for exposure... If am able to settle permanently after study is a plus for me, I still have Canada in my plans and am sure one day it will work out. We really don't know what post brexit immigration policy would be. I read online today that UK wants to introduce a point based system like Australia for immigration.
Its still an ongoing episode we don't know how it will turn out. But am sure studying in the UK will be a point booster for the skilled immigrant scheme. Fingers crossed

Come on Walexy5050;
Be the difference. You are going to the UK for a PhD.
These type of questions are a little bit below you.
Check the .gov.uk website
ALL the information is there, including an IHS fees calculator.

Total maintenance fees you are required to show is 9 months, not the entire 2 years.

Read and understand what DMAINMAN wrote to u...
Even most UK citizens who works in London live outside London city....
Mind you, schooling at London city is extremely expensive for a student except u re well prepared Financially! Ofcourse, people school in London.
But check ur pocket and budget.

Most cities and UK Towns outside London are OK for international students with job choices.

A double room accommodation for you and ur family to start is as low as £280-360 outside London.

U go even take Work agencies do shakara for many places outside london, telling them u got a job already...

Even in London u cant do more than ur power except u wan kill urself.

Just find d right Schools for ur career, and Pray to God to help u choose where to go that will suit ur Destiny that's d issue.
Hope this helps.
Hi, Pls which Uni outside London have flexible payment option, I intend to study human resources management M. Sc.. Pls I want a place with affordable cost of living and flexible payment option, like 3000-3500 part pay fees and above all where I can get better job offers "during and after my study "
Thanks

thanks. I understand 9 months maintenance fees now.

What about tuition balance if I have already paid a deposit of £4k out of £14k. Am I to show 10k + 9135 (£19135k) in my account?

Dear Nursing applicants,
Here is a list of questions I was asked during my interview before the admission:
*I was asked about my personal experience, as stated in my Personal statement
*I was given case studies and asked few questions based on that. (How I would react in such situation)
*I was asked to talk about a time i had an argument with someone
*I was asked about leadership qualities and how well I have performed in such role (based on my CV)

Someone else I got know was asked different questions, like
*A story on why he chose to study nursing (from personal statement)
*Whether he has ever taken care of a sick person or vulnerable person

My advice,
*Please read the NHS policies, the 6Cs of NHS, NHS code and NHS values. These helped me appropriate give answers to the questions
*Read about recent trend in UK Nursing - latest happenings in UK Nursing
*Know your personal statement very well, and if someone else assisted you one way or the other, learn how to personalize it.
*Read about your school and know why you chose the school. Be interested in the school and know a lot about it

All the best
