Living monument to the colossal scam played on Igbos by GEJ and some greedy SE leaders.

GEJ promised to build the bridge as a pledge to the Igbos. Bridge is projected to cost around 110bn. He waited until a coalition of businessmen came on who were willing to charge their kinsmen tolls for 25 years on a bridge they should have been plying for free.
In a country where amnesty payments are fully funded, and the Abuja road expansion project was fully funded by the FG, the PPP arrangement for the 2nd niger bridge must count as one of the biggest betrayal of trust.

Don't get me wrong. It's good th bridge is being built. But it's a bitter sweet deal.

This is even better than SSG post some of our Igbo brothers are crying foul of.
