Job Title: Facilities Engineer

Purpose of Role/Context

Manage all Non-core engineering minor works, project activities, plant overhauls across brewery except for Major projects.
Key areas responsibilities:

¨ Maintenance of Non-core assets and facilities on site.
¨ Interface between GNPLC and outsourced FLT contractor, Non-core maintenance (Air conditioning & General works) contractors.
¨ Develop contractual procedures in line with RMS system and ensure compliance.
¨ Small and Non-core projects.
¨ Provide support services to the brewery in areas of welding, fabrication and machine shop operations.
¨ Co-ordination of Water distribution service to management houses.
¨ Management of third-party service providers (Drivers, Gardening, Cleaning, Catering, Courier etc)
¨ Liaison with the Community Relations Manager on Community related issues.
¨ Preparation and control of annual budget for Non-core assets and facilities on site.

Leadership and Functional Responsibility
This is leadership role requiring strong team working and commerciality

Functional Capabilities:
Ø Good project management skills.

Ø Good knowledge of engineering relating to manufacturing and packaging.

Ø Fully conversant with financial evaluation of investments.

Ø Excellent knowledge of company Risk Management, Environmental and Safety Standards.

Ø Competent coach and facilitator of multi disciplinary teams.

Ø Understands the value of linkage between company Values/ Leadership Capabilities and excellence in technical disciplines.

Qualifications and Experience Required

Good mechanical, or electrical engineering degree.

Membership of Nigeria Society of Engineer and/or COREN registration will be of advantage.

Six years engineering management experience in FMCG industry which could include experience in:
High speed packaging, Steam generation and distribution, Refrigeration, Diesel Powered stand-by generation, Health and safety, Contract Management.

Detailed knowledge of computer based office suite applications and maintenance.

Good interpersonal skill vertically and horizontally within organization.

Practical engineering skills

Leadership, particularly under pressure.

Project management including programme and budget management.

Mobility
Brewery based within Nigeria.
