As a result of tendencies by hateful nigerian tribes to exclude, marginalise and bring down the south east and south south people, some key steps have been enumerated to safeguard the east and avoid a repeat of 1966 episode where the whole world joined hands with the federal government of Nigeria to commit the worst kind of genocide in the history of mankind.

1. The rapid investment in the east by eastern business.
The need for this can not be over emphasised as tendencies for forceful seizure, over taxation and deliberate hounding of businesses owned by igbos exist. A typical case is the annual rituals of closing markets dominated by igbos like the Ladipo market.
This can be resolved if igbos invest in agriculture and food processing business by turning over the numerous forest and fallow grounds in the east to palm plantations and rice farms. This will be followed by establishment of rice processing plants and palm oil refineries in the east.

2 . The end of eastern markets as a dumping ground for products made in lagos.
This will attract the much needed investment by placing focus on what needs to be manufactured in the east to prevent another problem where the borders will be closed leading to starvation of the east. Easterners business men are enjoined to replicate what ever products they buy from lagos in the east to prevent loss of capital and create jobs.

3. The retention of the eastern best brains in the east, the continous brain drain of the most intelligent brains from the South-East and South-South who schooled in the east to work in businesses, schools, hospitals etc is not only retrogressively foolish but self defeatist. A deliberate action has to be implemented by all eastern businesses ,individuals, government to start head hunting the bright brains from the east who are in the cities of lagos, Abuja to come back to the East and practice their craft, incentives can include capita, tax holidays, free office and living accommodation. These brains abound in the telecommunications industry, IT industry, banking industry, pharmaceutical industry, health industry where igbos own the best hospitals in lagos and Abuja, entertainment industry which igbos control.

4. The floating of an eastern career run and managed by a privately owned eastern affiliate.
At the rate igbos enrich other people's businesses while neglecting their own shows igbos as the most naive people in the World.
Profitability of air transportation business has been proven by ethiopia airlines, the east can replicate this as igbos are the most travelled people in Africa. The airline can be based in enugu and fly weekly to Dubai, China, Germany, south Africa while those countries can be encouraged to have their consulates in the east.
The airline will give additional employment and igr for the east.

5. The use of nearby ports for transit of goods to the east. The essence of a functional port can be seen in the transformation of dubai from a relatively unknown middle east village to economic and tourism power house and destination. Enough said.

Good morning my fellow realistic Igbo. To add to your great ideas Igbos should start reverse migration. Let us adopt the Indian style of only the man living in Lagos or Kano but his entire family stays back in Igboland. That way he will be forced to invest home and send most of his income home which in turn makes his home keep more of the cash than Lagos.

This is the way i want the easteners to go before shouting any form of seperation,

Why. Dont they build the east systematically,
Igbos are rich enough to do this.....

By the way the entire east may not be up to niger state, so whats stoping the igbos from having a solid plan than all this radio and tv shows

I dont really see an igbo nation prepared.... all i see is zeal without knowledge
