Can 500k start up a boutique business in Lagos?

Yes, but it would depend on the location you want to start in and you'd be starting small with that amount.

More than enough

A friend of mine opened one in Victoria island with 3.2Million and It's seriously paying off.

I would have tried out one in Lekki 1 but I can't manage it myself.I can't let people mismanage it either.

With 500k,u will be having a classic boutique.
Assuming your fund is 500k

then

2 years rent in a nice location # 100k
Finishing,glass door and paint# 60k
Generator #40k
Stocks # 300k = 500k
--------------------

Average gain on a polo is like 800(let's assume you could sell of minimum of 7 items a day)

That's making sense.
