Hello everybody, I must commend the great work done here, it is really helping lives. Hubby just registered for this CIC program and I have 2 questions. He studied microbiology in the university and he has like 8yrs work experience in IT.
My Questions
1, Will his 2171 NOC count due to his university degree? NOC should be chosen based on his skill/work experience(in this case its IT) regardless of his degree
2, Presently under his CIC profile his work experience is not awarded any points and we are kinda bothered about that. This question got me confused. why is there no point awarded? didnt he choose number of years of experience outside canada?
Thank you all

Hello. read above inserts.

There is no point creating individual profile. Whoever has better score should be the PA and evaluating educational credential and aceing IELTS by the couple gives them more points.
ugoiyke79e2:

hello.
you should both resit the exam and aim at 8777 in LSRW ....
when u get a better result, yes u can individually create an EE profile to await whoever gets an ITA first...
cheers.

thanks once again

1.while creating my profile under the SINP, the available NOC codes dont tally with my NOC 2283. The closest in the SINP is NOC 2171. Should i choose the NOC 2171 ?

2. Do i still require my transcript and certificate to apply for any province nomination even after getting ECA from WES?

thank you in anticipation of timely response.

Kindly answer please:-
a. While sending my credentials for verification-IQAS, do I need any other document to add?
b. Can I use an ECA from IQAS to apply for Australia's version?

Post ITA, d PCC i got from Alagbon is valid for only 3 months. They wrote 'This certificate is only valid for 3 months & issued to the holder to travel to Canada'

I asked if they can do 6 months and they said no. Am I d only 1 or dat is d standard?

Hi Guys,

My hubby and I wrote the IELTS exam and we both made more than 6.5 and above in each bands. My overall is 7 while his is 7.5. I was wondering if it is allowed for apply separately using each other as spouse in each of the application.

You have to specifically list out your individual scores for better advice.

The PCC validity has long since been changed. PCC's are now valid for 6 months if obtained from one's country of residence therefore he doesn't need to request for a new one if it's older than 3 months. CIC ignores the expiry dates written on PCC's therefore the 3 months validity date on Nigeria PCC's is immaterial.

Congratulations @Bimpsy99 cheesy

God don win. ICAS are time -wasters. angry

I think you are eligible for the classification just before Masters i.e. "2 or more qualifications...." subcategory

IMHO, location of study should be Nigeria even though it is a UK qualification.

@Garykasparov can throw more light on ACCA status (part-time) but I think you should choose part-time.

ITA loading wink

Welcome sis. By God's grace, we shall have good testimonies soon.

IQAS' is yet to exhaust it's SLA of 15 working days for wifey's application. Expecting a feedback soon.

How long did your WES evaluation take?
Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by Bimpsy99: 9:55pm On Apr 02, 2017
initiated the WES process Jan 13, they got all the documents March 6 (verification inclusive), ECA issued March 30. It was just God plus constant following up on twitter cos they are generally unresponsive.
