FIFA 16 IS NOW AVAILABLE ON ANDROID

Fifa 16 football game is now available on Android platform and can be downloaded from Google playstore. The game comes with improved graphics and new features such as individual goal celebration style. Each player now has a unique way of celebrating a goal ; just like its real. the whole package requires about 1.4GB data(and internal storage) to download .

GOOGLE IS SET TO HOST AN EVENT ON THE 29TH OF SEPTEMBR 2015

Google is set to host an event on the 29th of september 2015 in San francisco. At the event , the internet giant is expected to officially unveil the next iteration of Nexus Smartphones as well as the next big thing on Android , Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

TECNO MOBILE LAUNCHES PHANTOM 5 SMARTPHONE IN KENYA

Earlier this week , Tecno Mobile Launched its 2015 flagship smartphone , Phantom 5 in Kenya!. The smartphone comes with a 5.5inch display , full metal build and a finger print scanner. Kenyans will have to shell out Ksh 39,999 to get this smartphone.

GOOGLE LAUNCHES ANDROID ONE IN UAE VIA THE INFINIX HOT 2 SMARTPHONE

Google's Android One project lands in UAE (Dubai) via the Infinix Hot 2 smartphone. Infinix hot 2 is the product of a partnership between Infinix Mobility and Google. The smartphone has received massive support and acceptance since it first launched in Nigeria. It runs on stock Android 5.1Lollipop and is guaranteed to get the next Android version ( Android 6.0 Marshmallow).

SWIFT KEY ENDS SUPPORT FOR ANDROID 2.3 GINGERBREAD AND LOWER DEVICES

Popular keyboard app , Swiftkey has decided to end all support for smartphones running on Android Gingerbread and lower version. In addition , Swift key is already preparing for Android 6.0 marshmallow , and has released a beta version of the app on Android 6.0 developer preview.

EVERNOTE APP GETS 3 HOMESCREEN WIDGETS

In a new version released , Evernote team added 3 new homescreen widgets to the app. The first widget is a standard list of your most recently-viewed notes, the second is a horizontal bar with a user-customizable set of actions, and the third is a single 1x1 widget with one selectable action.

XIAOMI Mi 4C LAUNCHES WITH A $204 PRICE TAG

Xiaomi recently Launched Mi 4C , A ridiculously cheap smartphone with far above average specs. The smartphone comes with a 5inch display with a slim body and plastic cover. Inside , it is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor and 2GB RAM. The 3080mAh battery supports quick charge 2.0 and USB Type C chord. Mi 4c can be gotten from Xiaomi's website , MI.com.

HELLO GOOGLE NEWSSTAND , WELCOME TO THE 1BILLION CLUB!

Google Newsstand app has accumulated a total of over 1Billion downloads since its launch in 2013. The app is the product of a merger between Google currents and Playstore magazine. It became the 16th app to cross the billion installs mark , Joining the likes of Gmail , Facebook Messenger and Whatsapp.


THIS TECNO SMARTPHONE DIDN'T USE A MEDIATEK CHIPSET

There is one TECNO smartphone that didn't use a mediatek chipset; can you guess who it is? TECNO P3! In 2013 , Tecno Partnered Etisalat and Qualcomm to launch Tecno P3 in Nigeria. Tecno p3 is the only TECNO smartphone to have used a Qualcomm chipset but sadly , the specs are unimpressive

TECNO REVEALS PHANTOM 5 WILL GET OTA UPDATE

Tecno Mobile revealed that its 2015 flagship smartphone will get a major software update next year. Tecno mobile has been heavily criticized for lack of software updates and they will be looking to change that soon. A major update on Phantom 5 is scheduled to rollout in June 2016.

LG G5 RUMORED TO LAUNCH WITH 20MP CAMERA AND SNAPDRAGON 820 CHIPSET

There are strong reports that LG is working on its 2016 Flagship smartphone , LG G5 , although these rumors can't hold water. The smartphone is rumored to launch with a massive 20MP back camera and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset.

OPERAMINI REBRANDS , GETS A NEW LOGO

Operamini has a new logo that will represent its brand on all platform!. The browser has over 300 million monthly users.

TECNO CAMON C8 GETS MINOR SOFTWARE UPDATE

Tecno mobile rolled out a minor software update to its camera focused smartphone , Tecno Camon c8. The update fixes a minor issues such as ability to clear annoyingly persistent SIM card change notification.

INSTAGRAM HIT 400 MILLION USERS WORLDWIDE

The instagram has reached a major milestone by reaching over 400million worldwide users , Surpassing twitter's 300 million+. Instagram is part of Mark Zuckerberg's army of Tech giants , which also includes Facebook and Whatsapp.

BLACKBERRY CONFIRMS UPCOMING ANDROID SMARTPHONE

In a statement released , Blackberry confirmed they are working on a smartphone that will run on Android Operating system. The smartphone will be called "Blackberry Priv" and will launch later this year.

UPCOMING GOOGLE NEXUS 6P LEAKS IN FULL GLORY

Upcoming Nexus 6P smartphone broke the internet with leaked photos of the smartphone spreading like wide fire. The leaks revealed almost everything about the phone which includes 5.7 inch display with massive PPi and a full metal unibody design.

GOOGLE IS 17! , HAPPY BIRTHDAY

The Internet Giant turned 17 today and it celebrated it with a doodle on its homepage (as usual). Google started out as a search engine in 1997 and has since grown to become one of the largest internet companies on planet earth , with a company valuation of over $100 Billion. Congrats Google

Oh Ok. Thought it was an MTK chipset. That should be a first generation tecno phone.
