The worst managed and most corrupt ministries aren’t those whose coffers have been looted blindly by thieving politicians over the years, the worst are those with so much potential lying untapped and fallow. Those that have been abandoned for decades most especially as a result of mismanagement and the discovery of black gold. What is the petroleum Ministry! Does Mr. President know how much untapped Tourism potential Nigeria has? Why does the tourism ministry keep depending on the proceeds of Oil sales for its day to day running? What about defense? Nigeria’s defense ministry has recorded constant failures in the last decade fighting insurgencies. Ironically, Nigeria has the largest congregation of blacks you can find anywhere in the world. Why can’t we use our numbers like China? Why can’t they recruit and train another 1 million military personnel to crush insurgencies? Why can’t our military be ‘exported’ to help out with regional peace keeping without the core feeling their absence? Why isn’t the military manufacturing her own weapons in conjunction with her researchers, Engineers and some local weapons manufacturers?
On to the Agriculture sector, why did Mr. President have to reverse the importation ban placed by the previous administration on rice? Why can’t we be self-sustaining in rice production? Why is the Agric sector moribund? With the teeming number of unemployed in the society, why can’t the government partner with them via schemes to help them kick start careers in Agriculture? Why do we still keep importing turkey, Chicken and even FISH?

Mr Buhari should as a matter of urgency declare a state of emergency on these four ministries plus the industry and manufacturing ministry for a start. He better jettisons his plan to become the minister of Petroleum and instead corner the Defense and Agriculture positions for himself. He is an ex-military man and a successful dairy farmer so these two positions fit him much more. He should leave Petroleum experts in charge of the Petroleum ministry.

So, being an Agric or Defense minister isn't easy but being a Petroleum minister is? Pls, type something else and leave talk for turkey.

Nothing is easy but there are priorities! In fact, scratch that! How difficult can it be if GMB n Co will stop d greed n lust for petroleum? There are many able n willing hands with practical n expert minds!

He should start by restructuring d country cos d FG is bogged down with too many activities! Let citizens be actively represented n participate more in governance in their regions n see whether Nigeria will not achieve a definite turnaround!

It is this attitude of it's not easy that will keep people down! Power n d tools of governance are in his hands but they are not deployed in more practical ways cos they're all out for oil n gas to keep raping n destroying d South! Lazy n wicked rulers we've got since time immemorial!
