Hello house, I want to get this 2003/2004 Nigerian used Rav4 from my Landlord. He's giving it away at 500k just because its me. But he already told me I will fix the exhaust and AC. The Engine and Gear are perfectly in good condition. I want to confirm if RAV4 2003 will be accepted for Uber Biz in Lagos ?

Responses are needed from Honorables here.

Thank you
Vehicle worth 500k. That's ideal for Uber. Try negotiating to 400k so you can use 100k for repairs and miscellaneous.
P.S Hope it's the I4 motor?

You are clearly missing the big picture, though you are entitled to your own opinion though. Bolt drivers are not the problem.

Funny enough after that incident, got a request off freedom way. The girls, from their conversation they were definitely not Oloshos I hope they aren't though. One of them was having a bad day it was her birthday and her makeup artist disappointed her.

The other two were going to church and were running late. I checked my map and discovered the destination was at UNILAG or LASU. I was almost approaching Lekki phase 1 , I now asked are you guys sure the destination is correct. They now checked and discovered it was a wrong destination, Lekki phase 1 was their destination. No quarrels no qualms drove them to their destination with out updating.

I dropped the 2 of her friends at church. The one having a bad day now updated her destination to somewhere around Lekki 1 phase said she would like to buy breakfast at KFC Admiralty first. No qualms, drove her there, then to destination, fare ended 2k, she said she was going to do a transfer, no qualms I got alert but didn't really look at the credit. Thanked her and drove away.

It was even later that evening when I was going thru my credit alerts that I saw she transferred 2500 to me, somebody having a bad day could do that. No be the Olosho mate be that?

Lol... Its shows the level of discipline our cultures has on us as a people. All through my time I've been driving with Uber/Bolt I've never 4 once had an issue with a northerner, few cases with southerners and if I want to investigate deeply I know I will trace some origin of easterner to those i thought are southerners.

Igbo ladies(oloshos) especially those from Imo state lack a single manner.

That was how I carried this stupid Jennifer last week Friday from Lekki, her address was a hotel on the mainland, can't even relate where the place is, she didn't take much time to come out after I called I'd arrived. Mumu started giving me directions "Oga follow here" go here" play Davido". I tried to be friendly by asking if she's a Davido's fans she responded by saying she's Davido's wife. I smiled and said the only Davido's wife I know is Chioma and you don't look like her. That killed the discussion.
We ascended 3MD and it was getting dark already. Like madam just resuscitated from a ramp of hard se*
"Oga where u dey carry me go?"
I quickly reloaded my map against from the address on the app, same route.
Me: aren't you going to Bleep hotels?
Her: yes na but this is not the way I know na.
Me: Are you sure of the address so? Maybe you should call the person you're going to see to confirm tje address so we don't go the wrong place.

She put the guy on the phone and the next thing was, hello, I don't understand where this man is taking me to and he's even arguing with me, it's like this man na trouble maker ooh...

I was like, can you imagine? Just like that?

The Guy on the phone accepted to talk to me base on her request. The stupid good for nothing girl with her bad Igbo accent held her phone in her hands with the speaker on and asking me to talk, the guy was saying hello, hello, hello... I didn't respond. "grin man no won talk oooh".

I was getting furious inside of me, i just called myself down immediately and I snatched the phone from her.
Hello, please where do you want me to bring her to, is there a street name or anything, any name at all? because i work with the map.
The Guy: farm city, Ogudu Rd.
Me: okay, thank you.
I quickly editted her address on the Bolt fr9m my end, Off my radio. B4 all of this she requested to connect to my Bluetooth but I declined by say, if you connect I'll find it difficult to reconnect back (this has been my perfect excuse for the past 3weeks to riders that always request to connect).

In the remaining period of the ride she was just playing all sorts of tunes from music to videos, WhatsApp status, porns and all that... Making all sort of calls to different people speaking Igbo ...Watin concern me, i just mind my business.

Got to her destination, she called the guy to come pay. Guy ttransferred to me, i rated her 1star and left.

Set destination home, next thing I saw my rating dropped from 4.58 to 4.28. I couldn't work Sunday and yesterday... Trying to go online this morning Bolt blocked my account till Saturday.

Both for that vehicle. Most cars don't NEED synthetic oil and some actually specify conventional only. Remind me which car this was.

Oh... Thanks so much n God bless you for this enlightenment.

I use a 2002 Camry just last week my partner sent me N5k to buy 20w30 XHP or what ever but I instead bought 5w30 semi-synthetic... Inasmuch as I tried to educate him what I bought was far better than what he wanted my guy no gree oooh but insisted it that 20w30 he has been using for his matrix for over 4yrs and his engine has never given him issues. I couldn't argue with experienced so I let it go.

We still install the MOST AFFORDABLE AND QUALITY TRACKERS YOU COULD FIND ANYWHERE, featuring Android/iOS tracking/demobilizing, sms tracking/demobilize, online tracking/demobilizing, daily mileage report (to know how many km your car runs each day), Vehicle history report (where your car had been between time X and Y) and many more features.

Presently going for 25K (without Online Platform), 30K (with 1yr access to online platform/app), 40K (with lifetime app/online access).

Call us on 08060675824, 09032614208 to schedule an installation.

Website: www.mymoto.com.ng
Tracker page: https://mymoto.com.ng/product/vehicle-car-pickup-commercial-trucks-gps-tracker-h02-tracker-nigerian-configured/
Office Location: 1 Bashiru Oweh Street, Off Medical Road, Ikeja, Lagos

WHY DOES YOUR CAR NEED TRACKER

(1) Security: While anti-theft systems like push-buttons before car start, gear lock, pedal locks etc… are good, ONLY A TRACKING SYSTEM LIKE OURS ALLOWS YOU TO RECOVER (AND ALSO PROTECT) YOUR VEHICLE IF YOUR CAR IS HIJACKED FROM YOU WHILE DRIVING. Our trackers are both anti-theft and recovery in nature. e.g. You should shutdown your car before you sleep at night or park in a public space. Whenever you need to start the car, you enable it also.

(2) Remote Monitoring: GPS Security trackers allows you to monitor your vehicle location remotely from your phone. You are able to view your car’s location in real time (from our IOS/ANDROID APPS).

(3) Vehicle History: Through our online platform (IOS/ANDROID APPS) , you can view where your car had been between DAY X and DAY Y. A plot is shown on a map showing your car’s movement over this period of time.

(4) Remotely Stop Your Car: With our security GPS tracker, you are able to stop your car from ANY PHONE with an sms command. This function can also be carried out through our online platforms.

(5) Geo-Fencing Alarm:If your car goes beyond set a radius (or multi-point), say Lagos, you will be notified by sms.

Call/Whatsapp 09032614208 for details on how to schedule an installation.

Hello guys, the idea behind "Meeting and Greeting" is for us to "cap" or "finish" the year together with merriment and banters. If 20th December was no longer feasible, there are still 11 other days in December before the year ends. In my little understanding, the "meet and greet" is actually an "end-of-the-year" get-together for thread members and fans. Why would we be having a "meet and greet" in January, three weeks into the new year? And on a Thursday too? How about those of us that will be at work? How about drivers that would be on the road trying to meet their targets? Do we honestly think a driver under rental will be able to spare 2 hours for food and banter on a Thursday afternoon in January (winter month)? And are we thinking about the restaurant? I know Aunty RadAutoWorks is nice, but I'm sure she wouldn't be pleased with the potential disruption to her business when 30 or so Uber drivers and fans show between 12:00 pm and 5:00 pm on a Thursday afternoon, merrying, bantering and drinking alcohol.

I would suggest we chose another date in December. Aunty RadAutoWorks has graciously granted us the use of her restaurant, so Sunday, 27th December is another good date. This is surge season for e-hailing drivers. Any driver will find it easy to unwind for an hour or two and then hit the roads back, confident that he will still exceed his target for the day.

My 2 kobo sha. I post in peace.
To the bolded..

- I agree with you, it would be better to have it in December

- If you drive full time, then you will know that Thursday afternoon is one of the best periods a driver can afford to spare, and anytime on a Saturday/Sunday is a No No

- Don't be sure on her behalf grin Let her say so if it is so

- Drinking alcohol? What difference would their presence make if it is water they're drinking. This is stigmatization grin

My opinion too, The last day of year 2020 is a Thursday, what's better than capping the year off on the last day

First of all, big shout out to @bishop, baba has been showing concern. So I was supposed to visit a recommended mechanic yesterday but due to access bank wahala, I couldn’t take the car down. So I sent money for the OCV and 2coils he said was bad. Took the car today, after the changed everything, the car started a different madness. It doesn’t steam. It comes on and goes off immediately( but we drove it from Surulere to his workshop at iyana oworo). After several checking, the mechanic had to call a rewire to check if it could be a wire related issue. I’m still yet to hear from them.

We Moove!

I'm yet to see a man that worked with just one employer or did just one type of hustle from his adulticent till old age.

I narrated everything just d way it happened... It's the system i default not the riders nor the drivers.

Uber blocked me to high cancellations despite my cancellation was just 5%, I'd done over 1800 trips on Uber witin 12months b4 the block and my rating was 4.87, 98 per cent activity score. In 10months or more I'd managed barely 600trips on Bolt, 95% activity score with 4.28 rating.

What does that say about the driver? The system is corrupt. Reason why they-Bolt has the largest market share because we Nigerians are corrupt so we're like birds of a feather that flocks together.grin

Let me burst you bubble... Remember Bolt first blocked me permanently b4 Uber did. The same week Uber blocked my account Bolt unblocked me. I've Indriver, Off line customers, and most importantly I've an interstate link connect...so you can c I've options. I dont put all my eggs in a basket because I hate telling stories to partner. I've never defaulted once in my weekly rent since I started rentage, so why should I allow a company that I'm working to pay them toast me around like baggage. If drivers dont work how will they get money to remain in operations or pay their staff. So drivers need to understand the power they posses instead of playing a fool like they're nothing.

I once dropped a Bolt staff half way to her destination, an Igbo lady... I walked her out! Nonsense and stupid feminist mentality people.
