It just goes to show that just because 'your brother' is in position of authority doesn't assure anything.
Vote based on merit and not sentiments. Afterall Stella oduah didn't give or advocate for an airport in my state despite being aviation minister it's only her immediate family that benefits

Unfortunately your brethren will continue to shoot themselves in the foot by protecting her likes in the guise of 'awa sister' while they are being buried deeper in poverty and neglect due to their looting.

This is a person that was Deputy Governor, Governor, Vice-President and President for over 16 years, but could not provide common drinking water for his people.

...Buhari's towns people would stone him if after his tenures they had to fetch water behind a soak away like the Bayelsan's.

That irretrievably clueless joker was an accidental everything grin.

It might be the norm over there to only care for yourself, besides they seem to have been so drunk with the notion of producing the first minority President that they didn't notice his glaring incompetence.... coupled with the 'awa son' syndrome.

Didn't one jobless dolt build him a statue in the same town?

I can see that education is a problrm in Nigeria. Not school education o. But being educated in how things work. When people don't know who's responsible for water in their locality how will they know who to hold responsible. U mean a president should be concerned about providing water in village? When he's fighting Boko haram....... And if he does provide water in his village people will shout tribalism and clannish sentiments. With hate in the heart against the man Jonathan was destined to fail like a man who's judge and jury are his enemeis must be found gulity of whatever he's accused of

That Jonathan was a failure is a proven fact.

If it is not possible to drill water in Otueke, there is nothing that stopped Jonathan from drilling multiple mega-boreholes in Abia, Imo, Anambra, etc and channel it to all the communities in South-South. After all under a Refinery was built in Kaduna while the oil is down at the South.

Are you saying the President not have even tell the State of Local Government Chairman to do it? Or he was enjoying so much in Abuja he could not remember that since he was a child that his fellow villagers do not have a portable water system?

Quality education is scarce in Nigeria. A well educated man would not rationalize incompetence as you just did.

Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa! Ah!! Aaaaah!!! Give poor people a break in the name of whatever you believe. GEJ has his good point but you don't have to throw the masses under the bus when his leadership is called into question. If he could give them University why not water?! MDGs, NDDC was under him. He was Dep Gov. Gov, VP, President and we are to accept that he had neither responsibility, power nor influence to give the first "building block" of life water to his people.

Tribalism? It would be better to wear the badge of tribalism than the toga of corruption especially when the well being of people are concerned. If all our leaders had been tribalistic the way Britons, Frenchmen, Germans Americans, etc have been tribalistic Nigerians will be seeking transport fairs to those favoured tribal enclaves instead of facing the agonies of visa to travel abroad.

Pls and pls let no one give you excuse for their fatal negligence!

APC and Buhari are responsible for Otuoke not having pipe borne water.

They are also the reason Jonathan failed.

They are also responsible for Dizeani's rumoured"cancer" undecided undecided

HAHAHAHHAHA...VERY FUNNY HOW GULLIBLE MOST NIGERIANS ARE.

3PICS VS 1PIC.

THATS NOT DEMOCRACY NA.

HOW CAN WE KNOW THESE PICS ARE NOT FROM CONGO DR,BURUNDI OR NIGER REPUBLIC?

OP, YOU CAN DO BETTER THAN THAT.

IF I SHOW YOU 3PICS OF KADO/LUGBE VILLAGE IN ABUJA VERSUS ONE PICTURE OF ADO-EKITI(INSIDE TOWN), YOU'D SAY EKITTI IS COOLER THAN ABUJA.

LIKE SERIOUSLY,YOU CAN DO BETTER THAN THIS...

GEJ is a goner, he is history man, the dude has his shortcomings and strong points too(it will be uncharitable if you think he didn't do anything during his tenure)...HE IS NO MORE THE PRESIDENT.NIGERIANS KICKED HIM OUT AND HE HAS MOVED ON...BUT SURELY MOST FOLKS ON HERE REFUSED TO MOVE ON, THEY STILL CARRY HIM IN THEIR HEARTS LIKE A FUCK1NG DISEASE.

I HOPE THE DESIRE TO ACHIEVE WHATEVER IT IS YOU WANT WITH THIS THREAD KEEP YOU AWAKE ALL NIGHT...

I agree with you to a point(funny enough).

This is the issue we have with Nigerian youths. They dont seem to know the Enemy really killing them..

Allocations were given to the state governments for provision of these amenities but nobody will blame the state governors for not doing these, its easier to blame the federal governments and when the federal government wants to interfere with the workings of the state government, people will start quoting the constitution...

I believe if the Governors are honest and doing doing their jobs effectively, this kind of issue would have been history by now. The Governors are closer to the masses than the Federal guys, they got allocations to fix these things in a world class manner but they choose to do other wise and in the end they still come out smelling like roses whereas the presidency takes the fall...Former President Obasanjo understands the point i'm making that's why he wasn't cool with some Governors during his tenure...

If the governors fix their states and create enabling environment for development, then the Federal contribution is just a cherry on top the pie.

You can imagine a situation where a Governorship aspirant of one of the leading Political Party in Nigeria(This Aspirant was a former Governor) is/was telling the youths/masses in this state that He knows where he hid over 19bn naira (state funds) during his former tenure, If they(masses) want to see their money "returned" to them(whatever that means) they should vote him come the next election...as stupid as it sounds, the masses were cheering him...This sums up the kinda youths we have here..

I still believe the Governors are the one to develop this country.

When obj was there, how many borehole projects where carried out even in your local community? What benefit did ogun indiegenes got from him? Was there any empowerment for the Yoruba youths as Gej did to the nigerdelta youths?but you all still see that obj as a mini-god. Bunch of hypocrites
