OP, thanks for taking the time to write this apt message.

I'm particular about point 6. Our youths must read and read and read. Get ebooks on your phones and read. Watch less of football. Read and read. The more you learn, the more you'll earn.

Thanks for commenting sir. I have learned so much from your post on this forum. Nigerian youths need a change in their perception of reality. Keep inspiring us!

So... what about we that are past that age bracket and didn't apply those rules then? Are we lost? Any rules we can apply now to make up for lost years? Should we just give UP? Advice needed here please. Thanks for enlightenment.

Lists are easy to write.....nice one op
But coming to the real world...it all depends on the niche you were raised from(that determines your start)....some people made it in the reverse of this list you know.
Its not always about you thinking(its about the circumstance open to you)......
My addings...Always be prepared, don't stop moving, grow yourself in all aspect you can(if you are lucky, you will hit it or maybe not...At least you did your best

Nice post... But you should have added... Observing all this advises ain't a sure banker that u will be successful... Trust me, it's all about time and chance homies

True talk bro... even King Solomon in the Bible said the same thing; that the race isn't to the swift nor the battle to the strong.... but time and chance happeneth to them all. These two words 'TIME' and 'CHANCE' are crucial resources that can make or mar a person depending on the sort of decision made by such a person when it comes to utilising them. Many people are where they are in life today because they failed to take full advantage of opportunities that presented themselves or were even so insensitive to recognise such opportunities when they came up in the first place.

One thing I try to pray for is the grace to be ultra opportunity conscious and to take full advantage of such opportunity when it comes along. Even in football matches, goal scoring chances usually present themselves and it is what a player is able to do in such situations that determines the outcome of the match.
