Hi. The government at any level, federal, state or local is not directly involved in granting loans. However, there are designated channels through which government provides agricultural credit facilities to private investors particularly SMEs. The Bank of Industry (BOI) and the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) are the major players when it comes to agricultural credit facilities.
