If you are spitting a metaphor, always make sure it's a very popular event which the crowd can easily relate to, or it falls flat. Name dropping to seem smart doesn't earn you the metaphor crit . and I think y'all are sleeping on Bruce.

ibime takes this not necessarily because he was brilliant, he took it mostly cos he had more to say than bruce.

we really need to define what we're working with. stanzas or quatrains? this was exactly what happened in my battle with ibime. he had more lines thus more metas/punches.

bruce did well but he came short overall.

I haven't really read much of 007's verses...with this battle, i will definitely correct my flaw.

Nice battle by the battlers. I was really impressed by 007bruce. but ibime edged it in almost all the crits. That closer by ibime was supreme, but i doubt if bis is number 1 that 00 follows.

Ibime had this battle with opener and closer plus you cant debate the flow. Wordplay was too easy for him. kudos to 007 . . . he did great too

This battle was nice! No body bagging took place but there where slaps aplenty! IT WAS CLOSE!

007bruce went in hard with the personals, witty methapors and a sort of languid flow, but nigga? Its was a weekend , your Ish was just too short! You had an opportunity to flip numerous styles and you were in the zone!

Ibime on the other hand started slow, but by the time he got to that 9th paragraph, even without personals he had attained a sort of clarity of flow! He took that momentum and flipped it across the finish line!
