I am not a fan of Tinubu but I feel he is being betrayed by Buhari, its rather unfair. Same unfair was the way Jonathan was treated out of office.

Although Tinubu seems overbearing and needed to be trimmed into line, this flagrant disregard of him by the president is not very wise. Tinubu did more work than Obasanjo in the run up to the last election.

PMB never sought Tinubu's help/support/alliance from the word go as PMB had already given up on the presidency.

Nevertheless, Tinubu's choice for the APC ticket was Tambuwal. Buhari was to give it his full support and mobilise his massive northern following to back him up.

Unfortunately for Tinubu, Tambuwal opted for Sokoto governorship when PMB showed renewed interest in the presidency.

Things got to a head when Tinubu couldnt bag APC's vice presidential ticket despite going for it full gear. That was the only way Tinubu could keep a tab on Buhari.

While this news item may not be true but one thing is for certain,this marriage of convenience between the north and southwest will break down at some point due to divergent expectations which is already rearing its ugly head early in this dispensation.
