Firstly, let me point out that I am not Ibo, neither do I have a bias towards the people.

101-years down the road, since the demonic Lord Lugard almagamented the Northern and Southern protectorate, Nigeria, 55-years after Independence, it's future is still in shambles.

No doubt, only in Nigeria uncertainty winds precipitates the entire masses conditionally in this twenty-first century of human existence. Criminals are promoted from the valley of the downtrodden to the helms of affair. While evil masterminders receive the highest ovation when flaunting their magical over night wealth, the frustrated masses sing praises as solidarity agreement for people that mortgaged their future and that of their upcoming generation.

Instead of northern leadership to strategize on how to sensitize their people for basic education, they converge to discuss office of the presidency which is now a mirage. Opportunity that does not repeat itself is the type the North had for 38 years and failed to maximize it. Any attempt to impose such criminality once again will amount to infringing on the rights of other people. Such people may not fold their hands and watch vampires champion their destiny under “Born to Rule”mantra.

What is going on in Nigeria today is for the best interest of those with eyes but cannot see. Those with mouth but cannot speak. Those with ears but cannot hear. Those with legs but cannot walk into their freedom. Those with nose but cannot smell the pollution in the air. Those with hands but cannot write. God gave these natural senses to men so that they will use it to improve and maximize the earth to their betterment. In other parts of the world, these senses helped them to build a better nation on earth while in Nigeria, what is paramount is the visibility of a failed state-the consequences of the British colonies not asking enough questions before amalgamating people of different religion, culture, language and vision together as one people.

The only way Nigeria can survive is to re-visit the Aburi Accord. Ojukwu saw 48-years ago, what scholars and national shakers and movers are seeing in 2015.

Yakubu Gowon, before he goes back to his ancestors, must swallow his pride, apologize to Nigerians for taking advise from his Emirs and Sultan to kill the Aburi Accord.

Confederation is the only solution to "one" Nigeria. Britain does it, China does it. Even in the U.S we have semi-independent states like Texas. In 2014, Texas threatened to break-off from the U.S.

I have no clue why some parts of Nigeria are scared to the bones when they hear Biafra, yet they don't want to do the right thing. You can't force a tribe into a union and enslave them, even after killing 5-million of their people. Life doesn't work that way. There is a limit one can be pushed, and he will retaliate in a deadly fashion.

Nigeria was dead on arrival, we can either amend it by going to the Aburi Accord or watch it disintegrate before our eyes.

^^^Even now, ask the 'owners of Nigeria' to support the revisiting of the Aburi accord in line with existing boundaries (since the very thought of Igbos having control of the hydrocarbon deposits in their land drives them nuts) with Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni and Obigbo remaining in Rivers State, they'll still say no!

Thanks OP. Any man with conscience will reason like you did but a majority of even the present generation have lost it. They have demonized Ndigbo for seeking to navigate our way out of the maze they were put. This is why I see them as demons. They wish us death from their various utterances and in the same vein we will give them death. I'll say it loud and clear: WE CANNOT CONTINUE LIKE THIS. NDIGBO CANNOT BE TREATED LIKE SLAVES IN THEIR OWN LANDS. WE WILL CHALLENGE IT AT ANY COST. Nigeria will pay for the lives of our people they have been wasting in the numerous religious and political crisis they carry out. The many destruction of our properties. We will never relent. And for those Ndigbo who have decided to become pawns in the hands of our oppressors, it will be better for them if they weren't born. Ndigbo all over the world will add their voice to our quest and God's willing we will be free from this evil Nigeria.

Whoever you are, you can go and die.

If you decide to live u will live with some realities you can do nothing about.

Ojukwu asked for War, he got a nice deal.
In fact apologies to Igbos is late because the selfish coward who led them to autogenocide is dead.

You and whoever deceived u into believing Igbos have been cheated can cry your miserable selves to sleep.

Cheers.

Nigeria shall be great again.

When will Ibos apologize for the bombing of Casino cinema in Alagomeji Yaba leading to untold civilian deaths, or the hijacking of Nigeria Airways planes (read stealing) and the unsolicited invasion of Midwest region leaving tears and blood in it's wake?

Are these not grievous and deserving of apology?

Guy forget that gimick of am not Ibo.you definitely are.Gowon only cannot apologize for the war without the Igbos also doing same. You stood on Aburi and failed even if you like you stand on mount Everest the result will still remain the same. How can you ask one party to Apologize when they both went into battle.Asking the victor to apologize to the loser makes no difference. Mind you this same loser was also responsible in the first instance of instigating and orchestrating the whole issues. He thought he would be able to win until the table he prepare was turned against him. Please go and rest

Sick thread. Ibos caused the war because they executed a coup killing northern, yoruba and Midwest leaders but spared their own which made the northerners retaliate massively. Ibos have still not learnt their lessons. If anything ibos need to apologize to the rest of the country for being so self centered and causing the war

I read you piece. I decided to use my name.

The law does not allow gowon to apologize to igbo people.

Military don't do that.

Aburi is not a valid document.

Gowon had power to say no.

That conference should never have had anybody from the country of western Nigeria. It was not their business.

Ojukwu only took them there to overpower gowon
Western nigeria had not business been at aburi.
Re: Before It's Too Late, Gowon Must Apologize To Ojukwu And The Igbo's by ademusiwa5: 3:20am On Oct 24, 2015
You can not negotiate other countries land
There is nothing call mid west. It was illegal .

Mid west is illegal under international law.

Gowon could only negotiate for Nigeria and not for a western Nigeria. And the military are considered illegal in law.

Gowon did the right thing legal to refuse aburi accord.

The aburi accord was not the solution
Disbandment of the slave camp aka Nigeria was and still is the only solution

As for gowon
The blood of his people will be the only apology
So no need for him to apologise
This is natures way of balancing things

I am using my real name because I am given the igbo people the most Godly advice that money can buy

There are only 2 countries. Western Nigeria and Nigeria.

If you igbo want to break out of your country Nigeria. You will find it hard.

The most Godly thing to do is remain.

On the issue of western Nigeria , international law have settle our case. Western Nigeria is not part of Nigeria.

It is only a foool that will be assuming. That it will be part of Nigeria.

Igbos people have to face the fact and eatup their pride.

Something in life, you can't change. And those thing you have to accept.

For the case of Osibanjo who want to join Nigeria. You have to accept the truth. It is not possible.

We would continue to use the obaship system for ever. Even the USA protect its own sovergnty.

And the igbo people don't like us. When the life's of million come into it. Like hausa people say. Sai gobe igbo people
Western Nigeria is not part of Nigeria

You had the chance under good luck Jonathan. You did not solve your problem. Now you are disturbing Buhari.

Good luck Jonathan is half igboman.
