This is not to ridicule the Nigerian military or anything close to that as Nigerians deserve to know better... Following the pictures of the rocket-making factory which was released by the Boko Haram terrorists few days ago, the Nigerian military has claimed that the photos are fake, saying the intention is to deceive members of the public on the insurgents’ potency and the insurgents don't have the capacity to make such rockets.

Now the main issue is if the Boko Haram rocket factory is fake or the pictures posted by the group are not real, then how come the same rockets which are purportedly being made by the militants in the photos were the same type of rockets used in an attack against Dala area in Maiduguri few months ago -as shown in the pictures below...

It is good for the military to moderate some online publications so as not to cause panic among citizens but telling us that what we know is not true -that's FALLACY.... Denying the rocket factory doesn't prevent another attack by these miscreants rather embracing the shocking development and looking for a better way to stop them should be the way forward......

OP did you not read where the military authorities stated that the factory had been long destroyed in Bama and that they are not recent pictures?

In fact the date of the attack you gave corroborates and confirms NA's claim that the factory was operational in the past but had been destroyed. They never claimed it never existed.

"However, a top military chief has dismissed the pictures as a propaganda strategy of “a desperate and defeated terrorist group”, saying that the unveiled photos of its rocket-making factory, was that of Bama in Borno State, which has long been destroyed by the military. The source insisted that “what the Boko Haram is displaying with the images allegedly being their rocket-making factory is deceptive.

Can you present the house with a statement from the military spoxx that says otherwise? Why are you basing your argument on a report that had an anonymous officer as the source?

Op, what's the physics behind this thread?

the statement he's talking about didn't directly come from the military, but a source whose name was not mentioned.

Oh Nigerian youths don't tell me u can be this easily fooled. Do engineers not read this blog? undecided all I see is some welded hollow scrap meta and two air compressors spraying the metal green. So because it's welded in that form it means it's a rocket jeez pls people don't spread rumours. Why would you spray a rocket when you haven't put any explosives inside. So that backyard has turn to a factory!!!
