Can anything good come out of China? Yes! for starters, Xiaomi, the world's most valuable technology startup and China's answer to Apple Inc. The 'Apple of China' as it is fondly called released a new handset recently, the Mi4C, that packs the features and specs of high-end handsets from big names like Samsung,HTC etc.but inexpensive.

The new Mi4C smartphone is the successor to the Mi4i, which sold very well in China and other Asian nations, The new handset looks a lot like its brother from the outside but now has a new chipset, USB type-C reversible connector for transferring content from one device to the other at high speeds as well as Xiaomi's MIUI 7.0 beta which is base on Android 5.1. It is also now available in so many colours:Black, White, Orange, Light Blue, and Pink

Like I said earlier, the Mi4C is a powerful handset that should have cost a lot more. It comes fully equipped with the specs and features seen on most high-end handsets like the Galaxy Note 4 and Google Nexus 5X. It has a 5-inch IPS LCD screen with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 (Full HD) at 441 pixels per inch, which is wide and bright enough for watching pictures and videos, gaming, reading and surfing the web. The display is covered by Corning Core Glass, which is scratch-resistant.

There is a 13-megapixel camera at the back of the handset, a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with autofocus for capturing brilliant pictures or selfies. The Xiaomi mi4C has a feature called ''Edge Tap'' that lets you snap a picture just by a single tap on the edge of the handset.

The new Xiaomi Mi4C handset uses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 64-bit hexa-core processor with a processor speed of 1.8GHz for an impressive performance and lower power consumption when gaming, launching and running your favourite apps etc. and pairs with either a 2GB RAM or 3GB RAM depending on the model, 16/32GB of internal storage(not expandable with a microSD card), a 3080 mAh battery that lasts all-day and runs on Android 5.1.1(Lollipop) mobile operating system.
