bitter leaf is very tasty. Especially if a tiny bit of bitterness is left in.

~I use to think b/c of the name, the sauce will actually be bitter too grin but my Nana Cooked it w/ Fufu for me & i was pleasantly surprised how nice it tasted . . I'll only eat it if my Nana cooks it tho!

~Back Home Bitterleaves is considered "Fufu Soup" & cooked on its own,Is cooking it w/ Egusi/Okra normal for naija Folks?

I love bitter leaf, sadly my husband is averse to it. I heard that some people remove the bitterness by parboiling the leaf. Is this possible? I only know about washing it thoroughly to remove the bitter taste.

To y'all that don't like bitter leaf, you are missing. Try bitter leaf sauce with boiled yam kisskiss it's like going to heaven grin.
Re: I Love Bitter Leaf(ewuro) by BenHundred(m): 8:33pm On May 15, 2009
My dad always asked for it to be blended into a drink. He then drinks it and asks us[children] to drink it, saying it was for good health. Its real bitter but not that bad.
