To all those who have more than one bank accounts, even though you’ve already gotten your BVN verification Number and the deadline has passed, Banks are already sending deactivation messages to emails of unverified bank holders.


If you’ve gotten your BVN number, you can easily link them with your other bank accounts despite the fact that it has exceeded the deadline. Below are the linking process online for some banks.


Access Bank:
Simply texting BVN, leave a space your account number and BVN number to 20121 for example BVN 0123456789 20123456975 to 20121.
Alternatively you can link your BVN on their website here.

Diamond Bank:
If you already have a BVN, please update your details via any of the following means:

I use gt bank, my account was blocked, on getting to the customer service desk, I met someone i know, she told me to do it myself by logging to gt bank internet banking platform, look for BVN linker after logging in, I did and fill the form, my account was unblocked immediately, hope this helps

After inputing ur bank acct number, click on "verify" and ur OTP no will be sent to ur phone (no used for d acct). Get it frm ur phone and continue filling d form. Hope this helps.

Please can anybody help me in a case like this.
I thought BVN was meant for each bank account. So I did mine on my two accounts differently before I know it should be done once.
Now, I operate freely with my first BVN but the second one remains pending though I've gotten the second BVN, I still can't access the account. Each time I go to bank, they tell me I should be patient. Though haven't told them I did it twice.

I registered the both accounts with different phone numbers and surnames (father's name and family name)

Please bro can you advise me on how to do it in a case like this. Should I try linking the both accounts with my first BVN and ignore the second one. I can't just leave my money like that because of BVN. I don't know if the on-going restriction is going to be permanent. It's there anybody with similar issue or who knows how best to handle this please help a brother. Thanks

you cannot get two bvn it's not possible. one of it will be cancelled. better link the account to the working bvn
