Yam Flour\yam Skin by PeyButtons(f): 9:50pm On Nov 14, 2015
Please guys...recently, I've gathered a lot of dried back peel from yam with the intention of making a yam flour. Please is it compulsory to remove the skin itself or grind it together when dried?? THANKS

Babe, you must be a yeeboe gal, and your about to make a shitty yam flour.
The yam flour we use for amala is never prepared that way; it is made from a particular yam spp. Meanwhile, we use the yam without the skin.
You peel off the yam's skin, wash the yam, cut into sizes and dry it.
It maybe too expensive for you but that's how we make our original black amala.

You have to take off the skin, no skins, just yams. Okay?
