Hahahaha I laugh. I spent all my life in Lagos till I went to S S last year. Almost all the SW girls on my street got pregnant outside wedlock. Maybe they were not aborting the babies (which is good) but they were having a lot of extra marital sex and having unwanted babies left, right and centre.

This report is typical of statistics from Nigeria : - a whole load of rubbish.

Abortion is illegal in Nigeria, its done in back street corners by doctors, pharmacists, patent medicine dealers, babalawos and anyone with a coat hanger. They do not keep records, so I would be interested to know the source of these figures.

Actually I think South Westerners are just more liberal and tolerant, parents especially. Sexually active women aren't really looked down upon in the region.

Right now I have two different girls pregnant out of wedlock in my area, both from well respected yoruba muslim homes. No one gives a shiiii...
