Candidates are admitted into the B.Sc. Degree programme of the department in any of the following ways:- through

The minimum academic requirement is credit level passes in five subjects at O/Level in nationally recognized examination including English Language and Mathematics at not more than two sittings. In addition, an acceptable pass in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) based on the approved cut-off for the current academic session in which a candidate is seeking admission, is required for Admission into 100 Level.

Candidate must possess minimum of 5 credits at minimum of two (2) sittings in at least 5 subjects relevant to the Desired Department which form the basis for the candidate admission into the Joint University Preliminary Examination Board (JUPEB) Programme. The candidate must have undertaken JUPEB Examination course relevant to the Department in a minimum of an academic session of two semesters. The candidate must successfully meet up with the acceptable score/pass for admission into any Department as specified by the University and JUPEB Regulations.

INTER-UNIVERSITY TRANSFER

In addition, an acceptable pass in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) based on the approved cut-off for the current academic session in which a candidate is seeking admission, is required for Admission into 100 Level.

The candidate must have undertaken JUPEB Examination course relevant to the Department in a minimum of an academic session of two semesters. The candidate must successfully meet up with the acceptable score/pass for admission into any Department as specified by the University and JUPEB Regulations.

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has released the cut-off points for admission into universities, polytechnics, colleges of education and monotechnics.


The minimum cut off marks for admissions into Universities in Nigeria was set for 120, Polytechnics and Colleges of Education pegged at 100, while that of Innovative Enterprising Institutes was pegged at 110. Institutions are, however, at liberty to raise their cut off marks for admission above the minimum set by JAMB.

Hezekiah University Admission Screening Exercise 2019/2020
The Hezekiah University holds her admission screening exercises within a week or a couple of weeks and it usually comes in two phases. Students who applied to study in the school are to proceed with the pre-screening exercise when once it is being announced.



It is important that the candidate arrives early and locate his/her screening venue early. Candidates will be screened based on their JAMB scores and their SSCE result respectively.

It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to Hezekiah University Umudi (the University of the Moment), which is the first and only private University in Imo State, Nigeria. Established by His Grace, the Most Rev. Prof. Daddy Hezekiah MFR, Founder and Leader of Living Christ Mission Inc., Proprietor/Chancellor Hezekiah University, the institution was approved and licensed in May, 2015, by the Federal Government of Nigeria.

They vision is to bring qualitative and functional higher education closer to the people and to play a leading role in the socio-economic and cultural development of the communities, while their mission is to build a citadel of academic excellence that provides internationally acceptable high standard of education that promotes the perfection of the human person, in an environment supportive of teaching, research and community service for the good of self and society.
