After reading the statement on the alleged assassination attempt on Ike Ekweremadu by his special assistant on media, I found a lot of abnornallies and inconsistencies which made the whole story fictional.

Firstly, I dont believe that with the level of security in Abuja and the high alert on Boko Haram, an unmarked tinted Vehicle chauffeured by a "long-bearded light skinned foreigner" will be allowed to "park and wait" by a bridge like Apo Bridge waiting for their target.

2. The deputy Senate president's convoy , the fifth citizen of Nigeria will have operatives of the DSS and Nigeria police specially trainned as escorts hence its is suicidal or unreasonable for a lone car to try and ram or compromise such high level security. A "mercenary" will not be that daft

3. In the statement is was claimed that the vehicle was tinted, the only way the driver of the could have been seen clearly is if the enemy vehicle is coming from the opposite direction.

4. How come no single shot was fired at the enemy vehicle or attempts made by the security in the convoy to arrest the attacking vehicle. It is unbelievable that a vehicle that tried to attack the deputy Senate's president will be allowed to drive off without a chase.

5. At the latter end of the statement made by the special adviser on media, he said "The occupants attempted to attack the convoy, but were blocked."
They could ascertain the driver of the vehicle and even see he is long bearded and light skinned through a tinted class but no mention of another passenger or passengers but he went ahead and alleged that the occupants of the car tried to attack the convoy.

This allegations needs to be seriously investigated and is was staged managed by the allege accuser.
