The INEC returning officer for kogi state governorship election, declared the election inconclusive because the margin between the two leading political parties APC and PDP was less than the number of accreditted voters in 19 polling units where election were categorised by ballot snatching and other forms of violence. New date for conducting the follow-up election was not announced by the INEC returning officer.
