The jet fighter shut down is a sukhoi su-24 which is an attack jet . and it was up against two F16 which are fighter jet it never had a chance . and su-27 or an su-30 would have given them quite a fight

You honestly expect Russia to declare war on Turkey because of one fighter jet? When Isreal did a bigger one by attacking an American war ship, the Liberty, that killed dozens and wounded many more, what did the US do? They didnt go to war. Rather, they tried to cover it.

Regarding Syria, the way Putin has handled the issue so far, is commendable, though it hasn't ruled out a retaliation in kind, and This much Turkey understands hence the suspension of all flights into Syria.
