Rape is evil and serious matter and anyone who doesn't believe her story is either in denial or inhuman. Period!

I really feel for this girl. The truth is that rape /molestation is a parasite that has eaten so deep into the minds of people that it is almost becoming acceptable. This is sick to say the least. How can any right thinking person not feel for an abused person? No matter the circumstances, sexual abuse is sexual abuse and it is bad.
She was young for crying out loud. People are talking like they were never 17. Please get off your imaginary high horses. She made a mistake, she was scared and she never said a word because of judgmental people like you.
I pray she finds healing cause she has been left broken by all of this. I also pray that our daughters are never victims of such evil and that more abused people have the courage to speak out.

what they did, if true is evil! But you yourself is not free from blames! Hmmm! Our ladies and bling bling guys! Are u telling me godly and decent humble guys never approached you then? But you must have said no! The hunter's dog always pretend not to hear the whistle of its master when it is destined to be lost in the jungle! O dabo-byeeee

This still doesn't change the fact that you put yourself in the situation! I hate to be frank but no 17 year old child gets f*cked in the car multiple times, gets maltreated so bad and keeps going back for more. You mentioned he had multiple pix of your unclothedness and that he might display them for the public but is that really worse than getting raped multiple times, all the things you mentioned such as anxiety medication and suicide attempt are not new to me, most folks in America suffer from one anxiety or the other. Perhaps it was your youthful ignorance or maybe the lack of proper home training but sister you were just as much as a participant as the guys involved. If you truly wanted to move on from this nightmare, you would stop publicizing it over and over, just let it go! From what I've read from you so far, it seems you are still very much hurt and very vindictive. Seek more psychological/spiritual help to cleanse yourself completely as this path you've chosen to follow will only end in disaster!

And please don't get defensive when people question your integrity, even in the USA, a rape case not reported, with little to no evidence or witness will often result in the case being thrown out. The choice is yours, continue on your vindictive path and score some cheap publicity points or move on with your life and be progressive!

GurlFriend:

When US based blogger and popular twitter personality @Empress Sugabelly had her private messages to a friend exposed by another twitter user, there was a lot of buzz on social media because not only were the contents of the messages very disturbing in it's graphic description of the continuous sexual violation she was allegedly subjected to by the sons and friends of the late governor of Kogi state, Abubabakar Audu, it also coincided with the death of latter.

There were questions like why didn't she speak up? Why did she keep going back when she knew she what was in store for her in their hands? Why did she have to wait till the former governor of Kogi state passed on before she spoke up? Some were of the opinion that the opposition sponsored her on a smearing campaign.

Today, the lady in the eye of the controversy has come out to speak fully about her ordeal and address some of those questions. In her very descriptive blog post which she titled "Surviving Mustapha Audu and His Rape Brigade", she alleged that Mustapha Audu, who she had begun a sexual relationship with at the age 17 before it degenerated into abuse, had taken compromising photographs of her unclothedness. She was afraid that if she didn't do his bidding, he would circulate the photos.

This is usually the case with revenge porn. Revenge porn is sexually explicit images or video that is distributed without the consent of the subject. The making of sexually explicit images or video may be made by a partner of an intimate relationship with the knowledge and consent of the subject, or it may be made without their knowledge. The possession of the material may be used by the partner to blackmail the subject into performing other sex acts, or to intimidate them from breaking off the relationship. The practice has also been described as a form of psychological abuse and domestic violence.

In the light of this, she alleges that Mustapha Audu used the power he wielded over her through the possession of the sexually explicit images to subject her to all manner degradation ranging from rape, physical abuse, to forced group sex with his brothers, cousins and friends.

She alleges that the physical and pscyhological abuse went on for six months before she moved to the US for her university education. As it is with rape victims, fear and shame did not allow her speak up about her ordeal.

According to NOI statistics, 3 in 10 Nigerians admitted to personally knowing someone who has been a victim of rape; citing stigmatisation as the main reason why many rape cases go unreported, while the reported cases are just a small fraction of the true figures of this crime that happens on an almost basis in the country.

While we wait for the Audus to respond to Empress Sugabelly's allegations, we urge the government to create public awareness against rape, as well as create more Rape Crisis centres that will counsel rape victims, as well as encourage those who are suffering in silence to speak up.

Looks like a case of jazz a.k.a 'touch and follow' or maybe a case of 'okoo mi dun' any which way, she was enjoying the thing greatly tongue

Sad really BUT I still believe it was more of youthful exuberance more than anything that caused her to go through all this.

Maybe fear or maybe wanting to belong or maybe not having a friend in her mother at home angry Lots of maybes but we will never get to hear the truth any more than the fact that she maybe hurt as a result of losing out to other girls in those crazy boys camp undecided

How can someone take this seriously. Sugabelly's describes the incidence in a non-remorseful manner for lack of a better word. She doesn't sound sad or horrified by the incidence; but instead she repeatedly used the word "Bleep" several times like it would be done in a sex magazine. She was more concerned in describing the sexual act in graphic details. Of what use was it describing the sexual positions etc.

I can see where this case is going. Get the support of Nigerians then probably wait for the accused to go to court especially after the cease and desist letter. Even if sugarbelly is saying or writing what is true, if she doesn't have evidences to prove her case then they would have been only making noise.

Rape in Nigeria is becoming an epidemic especially rape of minors, very barbaric. Deputy senate president once suggested a bill to legalise prostitution in Nigeria (even if I'm against prostitution) to fight this issue of rape and have strong laws to combat rape but the thing is, some of the children of this politicians would be caught in this web.

Lastly, we can only hope on God to judge this people. Maybe their sins could be visited on their daughters and children.
