What the igbo nation actually want from Nigeria is not biafra. It is not in the interest of igbos to secede from nigeria.

But what the igbo nation want is freedom. The igbo nation want to control her resources. She wants a better and secured life for herself and her children. She wants to build a secured and prosperous nation she would be proud to call her. She dont want a country she would be killed because of a cartoon of mohammed in europe neither do she want a nation that will divide her nor the one that would marginalise her.

If only nigeria could guarantee all these, restructure into regions and give back the igbo nation all her lost(conquered) territories in rivers, delta, kogi, benue, bayelsa, edo and akwa ibom states so that the igbo nation would be able to organise herself and build our desired number of international airports and seaports and develop at her own pace
THEN THE CURRENT AGITATION FOR BIAFRA WOULD DIE instantaneously

You cannot defeat an idea whose time has come. You defeat idea with a better idea. Till then, there won't be any realistic chance of stopping the Biafra movement. I guess Buhari is not so daft to understand that. Killing of 1 million people 45 yrs ago could not bury the idea. Maybe Buhari thinks that genocide can. Those Lagos-Ibadan press cheering him to use arm to subdue the protesters will be the first to abandon him when he's placed at Hague after many years of protracted civil war. Government should handle this with care.

Honestly I cannot understand why Buhari will just throw away the national conference report just like that.

We need fairness, equity & justice in this country.
